We are a charity with a team who are totally dedicated to supporting disabled people, people with long term conditions, carers, their friends and family.

If you are struggling with paying energy bills, food and clothing we can help in a number of practical ways

Central Bedfordshire Council announced details of the new Household Support Grant. They say on their website “Financial support for your family, during winter 2021/2022 – The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has launched a new HSG which replaces the COVID-19 Local Support Grant. We will be providing funding for eligible households in a number of ways including supermarket vouchers for households, direct provision of food and grants to third parties (with the exception of debt advice provision).”

A carer is someone who looks after a relative or friend who, because of age, mental health, physical or other disability, cannot manage at home without help. Even if you receive Carer’s Allowance for your caring role, you are still classed as an unpaid carer.
